It was my first trip to Jacksonville so I had to see what a strip club was like. I knew that I shouldn't expect as much in JAX as compared to the high mileage that I usually receive in my home clubs in Southern CA. But I had to give it a shot.

I picked Sinsations because I thought it was as close to what I am used to in CA - nude stage dancing, full nude laps, and private VIP rooms. There are a ton of bikini clubs in the area but those don't just do it for me.

I walked in at about 10:00 on a Tuesday night. The building is tucked away behind a gas station and doesn't have the neon lighting that makes it easy to see from the road. The only way I recognized that it was a strip club was from the 50 foot bright white sign. So I made my way in and paid the ten dollar cover at the door and the five dollar re-fillable drink when I sat at the bar. The interior is not attractive whatsoever. Old rickety chairs kind of scattered about the room and dark walls. It reminds me more of a neighborhood bar. The only thing that makes it a strip club is the stage. Maybe ten guys when I walked in and about ten girls total. A 1:1 ratio ain't too bad, but I have to say that there weren't many girls above a 6 this evening.
