Cold Beer and Cold Dancers

There wasn’t a cover charge this time, no one was taking up money. I sat between the stage and the entrance to the private dance area in front of the bar so I could see pretty much everything going on in the place except for the pool tables. Most of the dancers were either at the bar with regulars or were hanging out in the dressing room between stage sets so it was pretty dead. There were two dancers out hustling for dances and frankly, they were the ones who probably needed to hustle the most.

I’m guessing there were 7-8 dancers there. They ranged from a couple of solid 3s to one that might have been a 7 or 8 in 2005. I didn’t get a dance but I did hear one of the 3s tell a guy that dances are $22 and that she would make it worth every penny FWIW.

I used to like this club but it has seen better days. I think part of the problem is that it is no longer out to itself, it’s surrounded by busy businesses and even if you park in the back it’s no longer private. There is a car wash with a prime view of the back of the club. If you have a car that stands out and you live in the area people will know you’ve been there or work there.
