Disappointing
The Rhino is well reviewed for a Vegas club, with many speaking highly of it. I've been to Vegas many times now and hadn't yet been there, so I decided to give it a try this last visit. I was disappointed.
I called for a ride around 9pm, and got picked up at a strip hotel around 10. I didn't know when I did this that they were having their 20th anniversary celebration. This meant there was no cover and it was an open bar, at least when I was there. As might be expected, it was busy, with lots of patrons and a fair number of dancers. The club has one decently sized oval stage with a single pole surrounded by seats. There's a large spread out area on either side of the stage with groups of four seats, couches, and other options. Lighting is somewhat dim, but not quite dark. The space felt set up for people to hang out together without any real focus on the stage, the performances on which were largely an after thought. It's a big club in terms of the floor space and seating, but it feels small. It has a low ceiling and the seating felt crowded separately from the number of people around.
The dancers were fairly attractive, but not overwhelmingly so. They were mostly white, and mostly the big fake boob look. Most of the dancers were drive-bys, saying at most hello and then immediately asking for a dance without any other converation. Dances on the floor were $20 to $30 from the ones that approached me. Mileage was low. One explicitly moved my hands down to the seat at my sides. Another let me put my hands on her hips, but denied even a caress of her thighs. VIP dances were offered at $100 for 15m, $200 for 30m, and $400 for 60m. A two-drink club fee of $45 was required for the 15m option. I don't know what it was for the longer times. The VIP area was very dark, with benches along a wall with dividers between them. The bench was very narrow, making it difficult to sit on with the dancer in my lap. A naturally curvy black dancer gave me a somewhat sensual dance with slightly more mileage than I got on the floor, but there was no grind, and no return contact.
