Good time in Key West

My CF at my home club recommended The Red Garter, she had been there before and liked it. Parking in downtown Key West can be difficult, but on a Monday it was not too bad. I found a spot on the street 1 block away.

I walked right into the club, one bouncer near the door just said welcome to the club or something, and did not ask for a cover charge.

Long bar to the left when you enter, where I easily found a seat, it was not crowded at all, around 9 PM.

Bartender was cute and attentive. Mixed drink was around $8.

The stage is on the side opposite the bar, very close to the bar actually, so you can sit at the bar and still get a good view of the show. There is another bar and stage at the far back end of the club but were not being used on a slow Monday. Only a handful of tables, so I would not want to be there on a busy night, could easily be SRO. Music was pretty good, standard club song list, but no rap, and not too loud.
