Disappointing. Again.

This is the fourth or fifth time I’ve visited this club, and I don’t know why I keep coming back except to say that it’s conveniently located.

The vibe is fine: plenty of seating, and it feels safe and clean despite being in a rough part of town. The clientele seems normal, although the way they interact with the dancers falls into two categories. There are guys sitting at the bar giving one to five bucks to whoever just finished dancing on stage, and there are guys who are sitting with two dancers at a time. The latter group seems to monopolize the dancers and make it worth their while, but create a source of frustration for customers like me. I sat in the club for 40 minutes, tipped every dancer pretty well, and did not receive one offer of a dance. Clearly the big spenders rule the roost here. This is the only club where I’ve walked in with an hour and $150 to spend and walked back out 40 minutes later with $120.

The dancers are cute and seem charming enough. They are just explicitly engaged with two or three customers. They are predominantly Caucasian. There were a few cuties but no 9s or 10s. One nice looking tattooed brunette named Jacqueline was memorable. Maybe a few of them bring it over on personality; I wouldn’t know. They seem happy. One weird thing is that the dancers dance for one-two songs at a time, and then the stage is empty for three-four songs at a time. Maybe their problems boil down to being understaffed.

I couldn’t speak to the lap dance prices today, although I think I remember from a previous visit somewhere around $30. My Diet Coke was $6, and tasted like the fountain was broken.

I primarily visit clubs on weekdays after work. I’d like to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it’s really popping weekend nights, but I don’t know. All I can say is that for an after work visit on a weekday, you can do much better.
