Pleasantly surprised

I am from Rhode Island which has relatively strong stripclub scene. I have written quite a few reviews at home. Las Vegas has an inflated reputation as sin city so I wanted to check out one of the clubs here. After reading a bunch of reviews on vegas strip clubs I decided on Palomino because it is the only one grandfathered in as both full nude and alcohol served.Quite a few reviews here give the impression that clubs here are expensive and you have to really spend to have any enjoyment. To be honest I had a low expectation and brought a tiny amount of cash with me to keep me from looking like prey.

What I have learned is...always get the free limo ride in Vegas. If you taxi drive or uber you will pay full entry fee which is sixty bucks.

Downside for Palomino is, I am here alone, for a single guy pickup they charge you the sixty bucks, but they give you three drink tickets which kind of offsets the cost. Plus if you pay in advance they take off 10% so I really paid 50 bucks.

Many strip clubs are open 24 hours here but the palomino is open from 4pm- 4or5am depending on the night. I am guessing it is part of the nude/alcohol loophole.

The driver texted me for confirmation after they opened at 4pm, and was on-time at 6pm. It was a small bus with a couple of people on it from other locations. Its a pretty good drive from the center of strip where I was staying.He walks you up one at time to the host and then they check your id and CC to make sure you are one of the pre-paid riders. I tip the driver, he is your ride home and can make you wait if your the only one going home at the time so its good to be on his good side.
