Angels is located in a large two story building that also hosts a Shell gas station and a Smoker’s Paradise Discount Outlet. The strip club is on the east side of the building with a separate entrance. There is a large paved parking lot on the north side. I went to Angels on a Tuesday night at about 22:00. There was a $20 cover charge, which in my opinion was too much for a slow Tuesday. As you enter, the bar is straight ahead to the left. Sincweisers were $6. A Dr. Pepper in a glass of ice was $4. The main stage is on the right wall. It has one spinning pole and a hanging ring. It is about three feet off of the ground. There is a small, secondary stage with no pole on the front wall of the floorplan. This stage is like a three foot tall cylinder that only gets used on the weekends. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling. There are two ATMs, one downstairs and one upstairs. The ATMs have a maximum withdrawal of $200 and a $9 fee per transaction. Smoking is permitted inside. There are hookahs available for use.
There were only four dancers working on Tuesday night. Three dancers were Caucasian, and one dancer was African-American. All four dancers could be classified as curvy to varying extents. None would be considered slim or thin. I think the folks east of the Sabine River like their bitches with a little meat on them. Dancers were not very pushy and generally had good attitudes. Dancers strip down to topless. Contact at the stage seemed to be anything goes. I was putting dollars into dancers’ g-strings and smacking their asses. The stage show was a good value. Dancers pay the house $35 to work or $45 if they arrive after 20:30. I believe the club also takes a cut of any private dances sold.
–Sinclair Dancer Sheet–
Cheyenne: White, black hair, C cups, tattoos on both forearms, 20 years old, 7.5.
Riki: White, blonde hair, brown eyes, D cups, tattoo covers whole left ass cheek, most of back is tattooed, tattoo on back of right calf, had kid, 6.5.
Skye: White, dyed pink hair, fat, both forearms tattooed, tattoo on back of right shoulder, tattoo of a weed leaf on right ass cheek, 3.
There was also a thick African-American dancer with D cups whose name I did not catch, 3.
Private dances take place on the second floor in a loft. The loft is above the bar area. There are benches with see-through curtains. There are two cameras over the whole area, but they don’t seem to have as good of sightlines on some benches as they do on others. A bouncer sits upstairs at a desk, but he faces away and just keeps track of songs and time. One song is $40. Two songs is $80. Three songs is $100. Fifteen minutes is $200. Thirty minutes is $300. Sixty minutes is $600. I ended up getting a couple three song sets with Cheyenne since they seemed to be the best deal. You can touch the dancers all over. Lets just say I had fun and ended up covered in dancer sweat. I checked my smartphone, and both three song sets ended up being fifteen minutes long. Paying for fifteen minutes straight up would have costed me double at $200. I think the bouncer was throwing me a bone because the club was super slow, and I was the only patron spending money.
Snacks are available for purchase. Giant pickles, short cans of Pringles, and bags of Cheez-Its are $3. Packs of gum and bags of chips are $1. Bags of Hi-Chew and two-packs of Reese's peanut butter cups are $2. Sweet Tart Ropes are $4. Angels also sells merchandise. Baseball caps are $30. T-shirts are $25. I’m not sure if it is still this way, but patrons used to be able to get free admission if they wore Angels merchandise to the club.
Angels is open seven days a week. On Monday through Saturday, it opens at 20:00. On Sunday, it opens at 21:00. Angels stays open until 06:00 on Friday and Saturday nights. I probably went on one of the worst nights of the week, but I still was able to find a little fun. Angels gets packed on the weekends and when Delta Downs is running. On Wednesday night, the club has dancers oil wrestling in an inflatable pool.
