Nana still going strong Billboard, Butterflies and Spanky's are still the best

Had a recent short stint in BKK so I had to visit Nana. Probably around my tenth time there. The demographics of the crowd are definitely changing with fewer westerners (farang in Thai lingo) and more Indians. This didn't in any way impact the enjoyment of my visit but if you're more comfortable being around Americans, etc, don't expect to see too many these days. With the USD in the toilet vs the THB (under 30baht/dollar now which just sucks) everything is more expensive.

I visited a few bars and Billboard on the top floor is still a hit but I think Butterflies now wins for top billing in terms of the quality of the girls and sheer quantity. It's a huge bar but they've finally managed to get it full and hopping with a nice vibe. Spanky's has been near the top for over a decade and is still worth a visit. Not as many girls as you'll find in Billboard or Butterflies but it's almost always a party vibe in Spanky's with a good time going down.

Short time rates are still increasing. Many go go girls now asking 2500 to 3000 for short time.
