Cloud 9 Show Bar

Was in the Reading, Pa area for work and reviews here caught my attention for Cloud 9. I enjoy finding diamonds in the rough so I thought I would head over. First of all, it was much more difficult to get there as there is a major detour and I had to go through the woods over one lane bridges to find the place. Once I got there, it is situated on a reasonable road with good lighting and there is a big parking lot .

I walk in and there are the usual "No weapons" signs and what not. There is a security guy right at the door but he doesn't scan my drivers License or ask for a cover, he just is friendly and says "Hi".

The layout is as follows. Off to the right of the door is the VIP room and the Couch room. To the left is a Whiteboard with names of the dancers for the shift and notes about upcoming events. The place is decked out in Christmas stuff. The bar is huge and oddly shaped with a large central area that patrons dont get access to . Patrons sit around the bar and there is a small stage towards the back that is inside the confines of the bar, next to all the drinks. There was one bartender and alcohol is served and was reasonably priced. I had a soda for $3:50, but guys were getting beers and shots next to me and not breaking the bank. Lots of flat screens to watch sports around the club. In the back to the right is a pool table and the DJ booth as well as a bathroom. Also had an old cigarette machine but it looks like there is a non smoking policy as nobody lit up but folks walked outside for a smoke .

It is definitely a regulars kind of place. I was the only newbie in there and I stuck out like a sore thumb. There was probably 10 other patrons throughout the evening. Having said that, everyone was really nice to me and I felt comfortable the entire time. It is a low pressure place. Never once got nagged for a tip or had a dancer push for a VIP or couch dance. The only time dancers approached was after a set to say thanks and pick up a tip. The sets were 2 songs, topless on the second song
