Lodge —- good, but not great

Lots of folks have written about the club — i will just add that i had not been to the Lodge in many years and i was not disappointed. It seems like they have kept the place up over the years so it still has a club/“lodge-y”: feel. Dallas is a bit of an odd place in that many of the clubs are in sketchy areas—including the Lodge. But, the Lodge seems to be a bit higher class so it feels more safe even if the area outside isn’t where I would go for a stroll at night.

I went on a Sunday to have a mix of watching girls and football. There were about 30 working, but it felt like much less because they were spread all over the relatively large club. I sat in the front corner near one of the small stages and there were a mix of girls dancing — nothing spectacular in their performances. There was a mix of ethnicities, but most were white. Overall, most of the girls were pretty — although a few I would not have bothered with.

My experience was overall pretty bland, which was fine for me because like i said i was there to watch football with the guys too. There were a few pushy Russians (blond), but they stopped coming around after a few no’s. We got a few lap dances on the floor and they were pedestrian - nothing to remember. That said, toward the end of the night a cute brunette (Lacy or Lucy) came by and she have a hard dance and was actually really fun to talk to — a great personality and made the night fun. FWIW, a friend went to VIP upstairs. About $1000 later, he came back rather disappointed. So, the pros are a nice, clean club. The cons are that other than for some hot girls, it is pretty bland. Oh, and like many other clubs, the guy in the bathroom is annoying.
