A 5 for $100 Fail
In early May, I was in San Diego for work, and decided to explore a few of the establishments.
My first night was at Expose (reviewed already). And while chatting with a dancer there, I asked her opinion of some of the other SD clubs. When talking about Cheetahs, she said it's more high end and the girls are basically perfect. A different experience from the more dive bar feel at Expose. I was debating between a few options for my 2nd night in town and decided let's give Cheetahs a try.
I arrived in the 9-10pm range, paid a cover at the door and was given drink tickets. I cashed one of them in for a sparkling water and went to take a seat. The club was packed, as it was a Saturday, but I found a spot. Honestly, no matter where you sat, you were awkwardly close to other patrons, but that's fine.
My initial impression was that this club wasn't as glamorous as the dancer had talked it up to be. It felt safe, but it was only about a half step up from feeling like a standard bar. A bar without alcohol. There were some attractive girls working, but more in the 6-8 range, not many 9s or 10s by my judgement.
I knew from reading reviews that asking for a dance would mean a 5 for $100 commitment. That's more dances from one girl than I'd normally look for, so I was trying to be picky. I wish I would have waited longer. A dancer walked by who I liked the look of. Really athletic, but with a nice round ass. Named Alex. I got her attention and she agreed to go back for dances.
The dance area was jam packed, but she found an open seat and we got started. I knew within the first song I made a mistake. It was practically an air dance. The top never came off. And her ass was strangely rock hard. Not like muscular, more like bad implants. She went through the motions for 5 songs and we went our separate ways.
She knew it was a lame attempt at dances, as she didn't even turn and look for a tip. She asked for payment in advance (which I'm not a fan of but complied) and she bolted as soon as we were done.
I probably spent another 30 minutes enjoying a 2nd drink and scanning the room visually after returning to the main area. I saw one extremely cute dancer, but she was engaged in a conversation with an older gentleman and didn't seem to be coming free anytime soon.
Ultimately, I decided to head back to the hotel after dropping around $120. I would probably not return, as $100 is too much for me to commit to without really feeling good about the dancer.
