Did it change? Dead compared to friend recommendation.

I was recommended this place a while ago by a friend. Some time passed before I finally went (friend recommended couple years ago, only was in the area a few months ago). I'm not sure if the place changed between that time, or if I just went at a really bad time. I think it was a Thursday afternoon. It was pretty quiet. A few patrons and a small handful of dancers. A couple dancers were with some customers (regulars?) and there were just a few other patrons standing around. One disinterested girl was on stage. Hard to blame her, nobody was really paying her attention and probably is used to it at this time of day. I don't live in Cali, so she was decent looking for somebody from out of state (A 8 most places), but I've been to several California clubs and she was probably a high 6 for this area. I sat at the stage and she half-assed tried to engage me. A quick "hey, want to get a dance when I'm done here?" We were immediately talking prices, and she priced me at $200 (and I assume she would have added a house fee on top of that) for what I assumed was not enough for what I was playing. As soon as I turned that down, she scoffed and backed away even though I was the only person tipping her at the stage. Later I did get a standard lap dance from another dancer (can't remember if it was $20 or $30). She was also a 6 for the area, and it was an average dance. A little groping, didn't get a sign that extras were on the table. Probably spent $50 total and would have spent more, if more reasonable prices, better atmosphere, or more attractive girls.
