A night at The Lodge

I found myself in Dallas with a free night, nothing to do, and money to spend. I contacted a fellow member who recommended the Lodge based on recent experiences there.

I took an Uber from my hotel and arrived approximately 8:30 PM. It wasn’t very busy, I was hoping I didn’t make a mistake. Cover was $10 with no ID check. I think the atmosphere has been described enough previously although it is actually quite pretty and well decorated. It’s also very large with several bars and a VIP area upstairs as well as a smoking patio. At first when I went upstairs to the smoking patio I thought it was actually a restaurant. So needless to say it is very well appointed.

I went to the bar to order my drink by myself, top shelf liquor was approximately $12. This is on par with what I’m used to spending so I wasn’t that surprised.
