An Earthy Dive Club

I made the couple of blocks walk down to Club Platinum from my hotel on E. Flamingo Road arriving at the club about 1:30 am on a Thursday nigh / Friday morning. I felt safe making the walk even at that time of night. It was a temperate evening in Las Vegas and the front entrance door was propped open. This is a small club with the bar and stage on the left side as one enters and a couple of VIP stalls on the right side.

I ordered a Bud Light ($6) from the bartender and found a table I like in the center of the room. A quick scan noted four dancers. An older lady sitting at the bar, a dancer twirling on stage, a dancer in the VIP hugging a customer and a dancer at a near stage table sitting with two customers. This is a topless dance club.

I had barely taken a few sips of my beer when a dancer coming from the back politely asked if she could join me at my table. In the dim light she looked to be mid 30ish with a nice body, cute face and fashionably bobbed auburn hair. She introduced herself as Simone.
