Second Visit Not As Good As First

After hitting CH3 on our first night in town and making a visit to Sapphire on the last night, we decided to make one more stop at the Palomino. We had a good experience there on our last Vegas visit and hoped for another. It wasn’t quite as enjoyable this time.

After dropping $30 on cover on our first visit, we took the advice of others and had Uber drop us at Jerry’s Nugget across the street. We went in the front door and out the back and wandered across the street. We passed by Chicas Locas and thought about checking it out, but passed. We told the bouncer we came from Jerry’s and he shouted to the cashier to give us drink tickets. We still paid $30 cover, but got two “$20” drink tickets each. We were all drinking beer, so not sure we utilized their full value. But, free beer is free beer.

We headed for the bar and it was packed. A dancer immediately grabbed me and said she would take me to the other bar upstairs. On our last visit we didn’t even go upstairs as we thought it was just VIP rooms. Turns out there is a full bar and stage upstairs outside the VIP rooms. This visit we all decided to check out the VIP experience. There were two areas plus a section of curtained rooms that we got 3/$100 full nude dances. When I mentioned that I went into a curtained room for 3/$100 to a dancer on a subsequent set of dances she said that wasn’t correct. I assured her it was. She said it might have been because they were so busy. There was an occasional line for VIP.
