Might Return to Its Glory Days in Time
I heard that they had reopened the main part of the club (closed since before the fire), so figured I would check it out. I had been by a few months ago, when the main part of the club was not open, and found it to be very, very cramped in there.
For those who have never been, it is a bit hard to find the first time. Look for the Toyota dealership off Atlantic, and head north on General Doolittle. You will see a lighted sign at the end of the road, and then follow the curves to the main parking lot. The lot is a bit worn, but well-lit. No trouble finding parking, as the lot is plenty big for the size of the club.
Walk in and $7 at the door. At that point, once heading into the club, if youhead to the right, there is a bar and a few TVs with some tables--historically, a pretty good place to chill in the old days. This is the room where the stage was just a few months ago, so it is good to see this has changed. If you had to the left, you will enter the "main room", which has previously been closed for several years.
