Mermaids makes you feel like a VIP

I was at a conference at the Tradewinds this week and Mermaids is the only club within walking distance of the resort.  I visited on a Tuesday night.  It was around 7:30 so it was already dark and the area the club is in is really dark but no one else was around so I didn't feel unsafe. 

I walked straight in to the stage area, there was no one at the door this night collecting cover charges.  I'm not sure if this is always the case or if it was just because if was mostly dead on a Tuesday in November.  I see a beautiful, black lady at the bar, she looked like Brandy and gave me a welcoming "Hi".  I surveyed the tables and the stage area.  There was no girl on stage and no one at any of the tables so I headed to the bar. 

At the bar, I see 4 ladies each seated next to and conversing with a patron.  I headed to the end of the bar and took one of the only two empty seats.  A busty, friendly, tatooed bar tender welcomed me and brought me a Tequila Sunrise.  It was a decent drink and wasn't too pricey.  I believe it was $9.
