Fifteen minutes and $8 I'll never get back
Hadn’t been here in many moons but this wasn’t my first visit to the new location. (Is it still new if it’s been open a few years?)
Mid-afternoon on a sunny Wednesday. The parking lot seemed pretty full for the day and time but it was hard to tell if the cars represented the dancers, staff and clientele of the club or patrons of the business next door. Had no qualms about safety in the area as a mix of clubs, businesses, and shopping (including a nearby Walmart) adorn the high-volume thoroughfare.
The management seems to be maintaining the facilities rather well. The old location, which had been around forever, had really shown its age by the time it closed. Once my eyes adjusted to the darkness I was surprised to see how fresh the club interior looked. It could have opened yesterday as far as I could tell. The small doorperson station was immediately to the right as I entered but it was unattended. However, toward the back of the club along that right-hand exterior wall sat a lone dancer who seemed to be enjoying my temporary blindness. Once I could see, I walked over to ask if there was a cover, noting that if I absolutely had to get a dance this one would do. She was probably college age or a little past it and a bit more padded than I prefer, but she wasn’t bad looking really. Still, I’d want to see who else was available. Yes, she said there was a cover and I’d have to deal with it at the bar, but after that I could keep her company. I made no promises.
