Dive bar. If you're on a limited budget it's ok, but you get what you pay for.

Harry O's has been around forever. It's in a part of Stamford that used to be pretty sketchy. But the neighborhood has developed and become safer. There's a small parking lot and plenty of nearby street parking.

I arrived a little after 7 in the evening and had to pay a $5 cover. The bouncer was friendly enough. I had to go in and out once and he remembered me and didn't hassle me when I came back in later.

The vibe in Harry's is old school dive bar. There are two runway / stages as you walk in on the right. It's a bit on the dirty side, but some of that has to do with the age of the place. The music isn't that loud because people are watching TV in the bar.
