Good for what it is

Visited Palomino earlier this year with some buddies. Arranged a free shuttle bus pick up from our strip hotel. Palomino is located in a sketchy part of North LV, seemed like a 20 min drive from our hotel, and my guess would be a cab ride would cost around $30 or more. Our small party tipped our driver $20 and he was happy. Upon entering a host tried to sell us some bottle packages but they seemed overpriced, plus, we weren't anticipating it being very busy so we took our chances with finding a table by ourselves. This was my second time here and it is definitely NOT like Rhinos or Sapphires. A little run down, old cabaret type of feel, similar to my local strip club in Canada. We sat a table close to the bar and enjoyed the stage show. Most customers come here because of the full nudity and alcohol, but again, that's what I'm use to in Canada. The one thing you'll notice here are the stage performances are, for the most part, very entertaining. The dancers put on a show here as opposed to most of the other bigger clubs where the girls seem to count the seconds down the second they get on stage. During our stay I had a couple of $20 lappers on my chair, which were low contact, and also a few off to the side at a dedicated lap dance bench. Again, these were pretty tame. Rhinos floor dances offer much more contact. The dancers here are more natural looking, in their 20's, and about half had tattoos. Not too many blonde hair blue eyes, instead; a very multi-cultural line-up. I didn't do any VIP but my buddy did and they are $100 for 3 songs, fully nude, and contact, and in a private area with a curtain. To me this seems like much better value than the bigger topless clubs. We had a good time here, but if I was only hitting one club on my trip, it wouldn't Palomino. To me, this is a perfect club if I wanted a night at a more relaxed environment without all the hustle found at the bigger clubs.
