Aww... at last I made the visit I have read so much about. I stayed at the hotel Cascadas. I even got the jacuzzi room which is more expensive on the weekends it was my vacation to myself. It is hard to add to the amazing reviews already here and that was so helpful to me. I would start by saying that all the reviews are totally accurate. Contact I am really thankful I discovered this website many years ago LOL because I would have never even know about this paradise without it, let alone the confidence to pursue it but it is easy peasy There are certain phrases that you will find yourself using all the time and while Google translate does work perfect, next time will have set up standard phrases already pre typed so that I can just show them. I did have to stand in line for about an hour coming back across the border but I think I picked the worst time being a Sunday evening at 5 p.m. when everybody is going back to the states or people who live here are going to work in the USA. I did learn that there is a sentri pass but you have to apply for it several months ahead of time and it cost $100 but you get to just literally skip the line and walk straight across in a special speed lane. I am going this Wednesday and Thursday night as in tonight for the Halloween party which sounds amazing and I will have some additional tips this next time. I did want to ask if anybody is going from the states that I might hang out with. Please send me a message if so.
