Dive Club, avoid the fog machine.

I'm really not sure what I was thinking coming here after combing the reviews. You get patted down, pay cover, walk in and the bar is to your right. The smell here is atrocious because of the fog machine(?) or the fog machine covers up something much worse? The volume is unbearably loud - and 7 of 10 songs are very loud latin pop/rap with non-synced music videos on TV screens. The chairs are similar to banquet chairs and the "private dances" are in booths on the side, no privacy. Except for a mysterious purple room that one of the dancers told me "no one really goes in there". Anyway, the women vary in attractiveness from straight ugly to pretty amazing. I got lucky and a woman named Milani came over and hung out with me for a solid hour, just chatting. She was easily the most attractive woman in the club and one of the best personalities I've met (dancer or otherwise). Prices for dances seemed to vary from girl to girl - $10-$20, I didn't get any but did tip on stage. I'd go back, but only if Milani is working. Pro tip: sit to the left when you walk in, you'll avoid getting blasted by the fog machine!
