Maybe afternoon's aren't the time to go

Decided to check out the VU since I was downtown for a meeting and didn't want to fight the traffic going home. Easy enough to find a parking space as there wasn't anything going on at the two stadiums that day. Boy has parking on the street gone up!! Paid my $20 to get in and was told I could go to other VU's in the area if I wanted to. As you enter it's pretty dark so you have to wait a bit for your eyes to adjust. I sat down and waited for my diet coke and was approached by a couple of nice young ladies. One's name was Lila and the other Pearl. I declined to have dances with them as I had just arrived, but I told them to come back when my eyes adjusted. I sat for a few minutes and my drink arrived, I tipped the waitress a couple of bucks and she said that it was a slow day and more dances would trickle in. There were only about 5 or 6 other guys in the place so it was a pretty slow afternoon. I was approached by one of the ladies that came by earlier and she wanted to take me to do a private dance. I asked her how much and she said she had a few different levels. She said we could get real comfortable for $30 and she would make me a very happy guy for $50 to $100 per dance. Well I wasn't about to take a chance so I waited to see what else was around. Looks like extras are at least somewhat available here. I waited for about 4 or 5 songs and the second girl came by and asked my if I wanted a dance. I asked her what was on her menu and she said she would do 3 for $120 if that's how long it would take to make me happy. I was feeling a bit out of sorts having not been here in awhile so I decided to take a chance and went back with her. Well her definition of happy wasn't what my definition was and I went back to my seat a little frustrated. I sat around for another couple of songs and there wasn't any new talent coming to the stage so I decided to save the rest of my $$$ for another day and left. Anybody else around here have any fun in the afternoons?
