Timing Is Everything
Vics is located in Irvington which has a reputation as a rough neighborhood but I felt safe walking around though I do limit myself to day visits and I try to park as close the club as possible. There is only street parking available and it can be tight on the main road that its located on so I usually park around the corner on the same block. Walking up can be intimidating as there is usually a group of dudes standing outside but it seems like everyone keeps to themselves and the bouncer is never far. $5 cover.
The bar is a large square with a single pole in the center and the club is surprisingly well lit for some the bar side action that takes place inside. The side of the bar opposite of the door is usually where the veteran mongers hang out and get serviced and there are two curtained booths for the shy guys. Beers were around $4 and after the song the dancer usually makes her rounds outside the bar for a buck or two and she'll either try to give you a barside dance for $10 and a little handshake or she'll just dance on you for a moment for a couple extra bucks.
This is was my second time to the bar and it seems like timing is everything as on my first visit the bar was filled with girls and someone was coming around to great you constantly but on this occasion there were only 3 girls working and once they became handcuffed then you were just sitting there listening to loud music and watching Maury on the small tv behind the bar. I think timing is everything but unfortunately I am just not sure what the timing is? Days of the week? Time of day? Certain shifts? Luck of the draw? Any Vics veterans can chime in in the comments or DM me.
