sinclair's Review
I was at Fred’s Lounge on a Thursday from 15:30 until 17:30. The club is located about nine miles northwest of downtown Missoula. It is located very close to Interstate 90, sharing the property with a no-tell motel and a TA truckstop. There is never a cover charge to enter the club, but it is mandatory that you buy one drink upon entering. A can of Sincweiser was $5. A glass of Coke from the bartender’s gun was $4. You must be 21 to enter. Two guys who were under 21 tried to come in and were denied entry.
The club is two large rooms. The first room you enter has a visually appealing bar backed with multiple televisions, as well as a pool table and eleven video gambling machines. The back room is a large stage over three feet off the ground with a single pole. It has a high tip rail preventing stage contact. All seating in the back room is couch seating against the walls or in bingo hall chairs along the stage. Fred’s Lounge does not want patrons using their cellphones in the strip club half of the interior.
Private dances take place in a fairly private community room in the back right corner of the strip club room. There are cameras inside and a sign on the swinging wooden doors, stating dancers cannot be touched by customers. However, dancers can touch the customers. Lap dances are three songs for $75 or four songs for $100. There is also a VIP room for half hour or full hour sessions. The VIP room is basically a full closet with a closing door that is between the bar and the washrooms. Maybe two-way contact can be gotten away with inside the VIP room, but I wouldn’t bet on it. A half hour is $200. A full hour is $400.
