This review with summarize recent visits to Angels Gentlemen’s Club on a Friday night at 21:20 and a Saturday night at 19:40. To enter the club, you have to ring a doorbell and be let in by the security staff. I heard the mob firebombed one of their outbuildings for not paying bribe money a while back. There is a $5 cover after 19:00. There is a bar to the right as you enter. A massive stage with two poles resides in the back of the club. Sincweisers are $4 and “premium” beers are $5. Mixed drinks are $7.25 or $14.50 for a double shot. Mixed drinks with Red Bull are an extra $1 for a single shot and an extra $2 for a double shot. The club runs a Happy Hour Monday through Thursdays where one can get two domestic beers for $6.50, two import beers for $8.50, two mixed drinks for $13, or two mixed drinks with Red Bull for $15.

Most patrons seem to hang out in the bar area unless they want to tip the stage. There are signs posted saying state law prohibits customers from touching the dancers on the stage. Dancers pick their music off of a Touchtunes jukebox. Some of the more desperate dancers will solicit dollars for the jukebox. Dancers go on stage for three songs, stripping down to topless and then nude by the third song. The club runs a dancer drink scam. If you buy a mixed drink for a dancer it costs $11 or $22 for a double shot or a beer. Dancers keep half of the money on the inflated drink prices.

Private dances take place upstairs. There are two rooms that are out of view on the other side of the wall from the stage. There are another four rooms that overlook the stage like balconies, but the walls are high enough to be out of view from people downstairs. Three song sessions are $60. Six song sessions are $110. Mileage is going to vary by the particular entertainer. Some dancers will provide a range of extracurricular activities, while others will provide nothing more than lap dances. I believe there are also options to do single song lap dances downstairs for $20, but few patrons go with that option. Two-way touching is encouraged during private dances--the complete opposite of the sterile stage show. The ATM has a $5 fee, and the name that comes up on the receipt is ‘McDonalds’.
