Back in Madison & Returned to Visions... but man, what happened?!

Returned to Madison and my usual circuit of Visions & Club Bristol. It had been about 5-6 months since the last trip out. Wow, have things changed. Hate to say, not necessarily for the best - and I've been stopping by here every 4-6 months over the past 2+ years.

I will have to second the prior reviewer's question about "Is this place dying?". I stopped by about 8pm on a Sunday and 9pm on a Tuesday. Both times, there were only 1-2 dancers visible, about 6-8 customers total. For most of the first visit, there was no dancer on stage at all.

On the plus side, there's no cover charge before 8pm, it is a very casual vibe, drinks are inexpensive and taste good with generous pours. On the minus side, parking is a bit of a hassle (in that, there is none on-site - and DO NOT park across the street at the Mexican restaurant, you will be towed!). The only VIP room that's really worth the $'s is the one on the far left closest to the bathrooms - and that's $200 for 30 mins. While drink service is included, by comparison you can get $100 for 30 mins at Club Bristol which is ~20 mins away in Sun Prairie, and the odds are the selection and #'s of dancers at Bristol will likely be better.
