Wasn't worth the free cover charge

Was in town for a conference. Staying close by, so thought I would check it out. On a corner at the edge of the touristy area. Seems safe neighborhood as long as you don't stroll away from the harbor.

Bouncer at the door, but missing teeth and barely seemed coherent. Would not want to count on him for help if things got out of hand. No cover charge.

Strange place inside. Huge rectangular bar takes up most of the space. Mostly bar stools with some seats on one wall. The very small dance area was inside the bar, between a cash register and a serving area.

There were 5 or 6 customers and 3 dancers. One cute looked like middle eastern, one white girl that looked decent from afar but pretty worn up close. Those two were hanging on customers. A third heavy set white girl with face buried in her phone. No one danced for several songs.

There is two stairwells leading to upstairs, one brightly lit, one wooden, darker.
