I visited here due to location and boredom on a Wednesday afternoon again. I already had lunch and didn't have any real work for the rest of the day so I did the only rational thing I could: visit here.
This time I brought a different attitude. Lowered my expectations. Instead of focusing on the money I was wasting, I narrowed my vision on what Archibald's does well instead of what it doesn't. It provides beautiful strippers to admire. Well, not all of them were "beautiful" but let's pretend "beautiful" is a synonym for "naked." Don't focus on the fact that you can't have lap dances. It's DC's fault, not Archibald's. It would be like blaming a kid for never being able to grow long hair. Instead, blame the parent's DNA.
I blissfully purchased a $10 beer and tossed around three figures during my trip. I pretended like this was the only place in the world where I could do this. Then, I was "happy." Well, let's pretend "happy" is a synonym for "mildly satiated for two hours."
