Thursday Late Afternoon

I decided to hit this place up on my way to Detroit. The club is off the the main highway on a country road about 10 km east of Woodstock. I arrived around 5:30 and there were about 15-20 cars in the parking lot. Entered a simple door into the back of the club. The were pool tables on the left as you walk back the club toward the bar. There was no cover when I arrived and no one at the door. I walked to the bar and grabbed a seat and ordered a $7 beer with a tip shelled out $10. I think they have more pool tables than the lat time I was here and a fair amount of folks were hanging out there.

I probably saw 10-12 dancers but there were some coming and going while I was there and it was hard to keep track. There wasn’t anyone on the stage when I arrived. There were a few people in the side where private dances are held but most of the dancers were hanging out around the bar or the pool tables or on their phones. There was mostly white dancers with a black gal and one that might have been Latin. There was a 7 at best and several of them were on the heavier side.

Anyway it was 30 minutes or more before anyone got on the stage which is directly behind the bar as you sit at it. I got approached by a couple of dancers but passed. There was no high pressure like I’ve had some in the past and they were cool when I said I was just chilly and hanging out. The couple of gals that I wanted to get dances with were tied up with regulars. I stayed for about an hour and hit the road and saved my money for Detroit the next day, I’ll be back again when have have time and passing through.
