Small improvements
I hadn't been to Miss Kitty's in two and a half years or so, but decided to give it another try as part of checking out some new places (Country Rock Cabaret, PTs Showclub) while in St. Louis. I arrived Friday shortly after midnight. The door guy outside was friendly. He said there were "lots of girls" inside and also asked "got any weapons?", but didn't do any pat down or ID check. The cover charge inside was $20, and I was told there was a two-drink minimum at the bar, though there was no attempt to enforce that and I only ended up buying one bottle of water, which I think was about $5 but I don't recall exactly.
The club inside was mildly dark, though not as dark as PTs. There's a good sized stage to the left and a significantly smaller stage to the right. The ceiling is low, making the club feel smaller than it is. The small bar is to the right of the door near the smaller stage. There's another small stage at the back wall, but it was unused when I was there. They also have a pool table; I didn't check what a game cost.
Despite the door man's assurance, there was only a handful or so of dancers there. About half were black, the others white. They were all less attractive than dancers at any of the other clubs I've tried in the area, tending a bit heavier, older, and/or more worn looking. A couple were cute.
