Strip club suffering an identity crisis
Someone else's previous review covered an evening where the Parrot upstaged their dancers with some kind of music performance. Having also heard about that night from dancers after the fact, I am leery of a repeat.
Which was apparently in the offing last Weds. Entering the club, my buddy and I walked past a guy setting up a pavilion / tent/ shade thing covered with radio station logos. We walk up to the cover girl (get it? Cover Girl?), show our ID's , and she explains that the cover for the night was $15 because there was an 'event'. "Wha? What kind of 'event'", we ask. Some kind of music.... Fortunately, no money had changed hands, and we were able to turn tail and run. As we were bolting away, a dancer wandered up and nigh on begged us to stay. Sorry, baby, no way!
Xcape was the second choice for the evening and was ok.
