No dancers until later despite the posted opening times

While looking at reviews of places in my area, I saw that Dean's Gold opened at 3PM on weekdays. I'm usually an afternoon club goer and my recollection was that Dean's didn't open until the evening which is why I hadn't been there in a year or more. Since I was in the area I decided to stop in. It was just after 6 PM. I noticed there were only a few cars in the parking lot but there was a parking guy who took my $5. In the door, the woman in the front said that there was no cover charge as it was early. I walk in and no music and no dancers on stage. There's about 5 people having drinks at the bar including two women who looked like dancers and were in drinking with guys.

So I ask what's happening and when do the dancers go on stage. Shoulder shrug from the drinkers so I go back to the front desk and ask the same question. Now the answer is that dancers start around 7:30.

Since I don't feel like hanging around for 2 hours, I leave. The parking guy actually gave me my $5 back when I asked.
