Low-End Club, High-Level Fun

I was here once before, a year and a half ago, and was eager to return. Visited on a Saturday afternoon/early evening from 5:45-7:45. Parking was very, very tight, but I lucked out by getting what looked like the last space. No charge for parking, no cover, and bottled water was $5.00 at the bar.

This is a low-end club, but I was completely comfortable there, which is why I rated it as high as I did. In rating it a 10, you might think it was a glitzy place, which it's definitely not, but for what becomes the "Club" rating when submitting a review on TUSCL, the question is posed as "How comfortable were you with the surroundings?" I love a good dive, and I rated it as a 10 for how comfortable I was. (A 10 here is marked as "Totally comfortable. I would go back.") To each his own. I would definitely go back.

It was crowded inside, and I got the last remaining seat at the small bar. There are two stages, one of which is inside the bar. The bar stage has OK lighting, but the lighting on the other stage is horrible. No matter, though, because this place is not about the stage show – it's about the $5.00 floor dances, which are done fully nude and are high-mileage, two-way contact.
