Kona Iced?

I landed at a little after 10p and after picking up my rental car and confirming my hotel would allow for a late check in, stopped by The Landing Strip on a Tuesday about 11p. As others have said, there is significant construction in the area. I exited 100 yards too early and found myself on a road that turned into gravel and then disappeared into a construction zone. Oops. I made a U-ey and back on the road where a small sign indicated where the turn was for the club. Found some parking (no charge) and headed in.

Cover was $10 after a quick pat down. Place is fairly well lit and was a bit crowded. Long bar on the right side of the club where I got $6.50 Modelos. Good number of girls of varying types. Maybe 35-40? Not great, but several were up to maybe a 7. A few girls dropped into guys’ laps as they pitched dances which were given right out on the floor.

There was a Latin girl with a really hot (enhanced) body on stage. Her face wasn’t up to the level of her body. She pranced around like she owned the place and knew everyone was looking at her. I’m attracted to confidence but she had a prima donna air about her. Her name may have been Rosario, but I’m a bit foggy on that. After she got off stage she made the rounds for dances and eventually got to me. She pitched VIP pretty hard but I said I wanted to just do floor dances. That’s when I got a little insight as she said “I don’t do that five dollar dance shit.” Wha wha wha what?! I had apparently visited the club on $5 dance night. Hmm, that Modelo and tip may have been a waste of money and I needed to stop waiting around at the $5 stripper buffet!
