Femme Nu is a great club. (Proper French: Femme Nue). Like all Honolulu clubs it’s full nude, and like many it’s also full booze. If you’re a tourist, it’s a short trip from Waikiki to Kapiolani Ave to find this place, an easy trip on foot or by cab. There are three center stages as you walk in, and one stage off to your right as you enter. (It may, or may not, be always true, as in my experience, that the right stage is also the Asian stage).
The girls are friendly and a nice mix of Asian (Korean, Japanese, Filapena), local mixed, and white. If you bring enough single bills to keep the green bills flowing while she dances for you, you’ll be admired. Like all Honolulu bars, it’s appreciated if you buy your girl a drink; prices for that go from $20 to $40. I love the beautiful figures of the Femme Nu women but love the late night talks almost as much. Good vibe. Forthright mama-San is almost comical in terms of drink-pushing but had kept this club alive for 30 years and you gotta love her for that.
