Criket Afternoon on a Tuesday
A couple Tuesdays ago I decided to hit the Criket, mostly because there's no valet there. I got there at 4:15 PM and since it was early there was no cover. After using the restroom (there was no attendant) I parked myself at a table near the dressing room entrance. There was a blonde with a fair amount of tattoos working the pole and I tossed a dollar on stage without making contact or small talk.
A young lady named Remy (looking something like a thick version of Mila Kunis) got me a $7 Budweiser and I sat back to watch the blonde. When she was done on stage she came by to chat, saying her name was Allie. We talked a while but now that I was up close I felt she wasn't really my type; not that she was bad looking, just not my cup of tea. She seemed unenthusiastic anyway, like she didn't want to be there. When she asked if I wanted some dances I said no thank you and she went away.
I looked around the room. It's a nice place, pretty classy and I'd bet it gets really busy on weekend evenings. The DJ played a mix of R&B, Rap, Classic Rock, etc.; depending on what the girl on stage wants, I suppose. There appeared to be about ten girls on the floor, but most of them were either busy with other guys or running back and forth between the smoking area and the dressing room.
