A pleasent early evening.
I visited The Woolpack early one Wednesday evening. As has been said here before it is a pub attached to the front of Inhibitions which is reviewed here separately. The pub side of the business operates in the afternoons/evenings - Inhibitions opens later to cover the night time.
The club is separated into two parts the first a bar - like you would find in any pub pool table, soccer on the TV etc. And a slightly separated dance area with stage and private dance booths. There is no cover charge. Go into the bar area and you can just drink etc. Move into the dance area and you will be asked to pay a small fee £1 each time a dancer goes to the stage.
Dancers usually do a one song strip and then ask for private dances. There are usually 4 or 5 girls working and there seems to be a shift change at about 7pm. They have a fairly good twitter feed that tells who will be dancing when and such like.
