Previous visit was a bit like a Costco trip. I got plenty of samples. A few packages were bigger than I needed. A few items made my shopping list, made a couple of purchases, some things aren't as great at home as they were in store... and I spent more than I planned.
Followed up with a second trip. Different day and different dancers. One girl did tell me if she missed her regular days she might show up on a Friday and there she was. There might have been 4-6 other dancers. Most I've gotten to know pretty well. One even said she wanted to offer me a dance but knew I liked to watch the entire stage rotation before play time. Another girl I knew swung by, told me she had another customer first but he was quick.
A dancer I was hoping to see wasn't in. Heard she had taken a break or was on vacation or who knows. It was OK though. There were enough options. After a fav made short work of a guy we connected and found ourselves a dark corner to spend some quality time in. On our way to the corner I saw some extra-curriculum activities going on. Not surprised but always fun to take a peak.
Got to our spot and did a warm up. Then it was game on. My dancer explained she missed me and was thrilled to see me there. And she showed it. I love that things just flow with her rather than having to give instructions, agree on this and that, watch the clock... blah blah blah. We ended up having a blast.
Unfortunately time didn't allow me to stay longer or round two might have ensued. But she knows I'll be back. Some times you gotta go with whatcha know.
