First, a big thank you to PaulDrake for his sage advice for clubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He gave me the low-down on several clubs in the area - listen to this man. He knows what he's talking about. I went to Bucks Cabaret Dallas on a Wednesday evening around 9:30 pm. The parking lot was well lit, and it seemed to be about one third full. Even though the club is located in what seemed to be an industrial area, I didn’t feel unsafe. There was a valet area that's coned off and closer to the front door, but the regular parking area was only a few feet farther away, so I didn't bother with the parking troll. The building doesn't seem to have any obvious signage indicating that it’s a strip club, and there were no indications that the double doors to the entrance were where you went in as it didn’t have an awning or anything else to highlight it. The entrance could almost pass for a side employee entrance. They pipe the music playing on the inside through some speakers to the outside so you can hear the tunes.

When you first walk in, there is a lobby area with another set of double doors to enter the club. The lobby area is closed off and completely separate from the club. To the right of the front entrance, there’s a large window/counter where they take your cover before you go in. Cover was $10 when I got there. There is no mandatory ID scan. In fact, they didn't ask me for any ID at all. I guess I'm looking old nowadays. A waitress told me that the cover goes up the later it gets. It might have been $15 at 10 pm, and as high as $20 to get in at midnight, but I don’t quite remember the numbers the waitress told me. That doesn’t seem like a value proposition to me as the place closes at 2 am – maybe they charge more the later it gets to encourage PLs to come earlier and stay longer to spend more money. But charging customers higher and higher covers the later it gets isn’t unusual as many clubs do this.

Bucks Cab is a topless, large, mid-tier club, and one of the girls I talked to said that it’s a little bit bigger than Baby Dolls in terms of size. I think she's right – BC is a little larger than BBD. However, BBD doesn’t have poles, while all of BC’s stages have them. When you first walk in from the lobby, there is a large bar area to the right with its own small stage. Then as you go farther in, you go down a short ramp/stairs, and it opens up into a large, open cavernous area. There is a small bar in the very back with maybe about eight or ten seats. In the middle of the room is a long, large stage with two poles that run to the top of the ceiling – about 30 feet. There are two satellite stages with poles at the back of the club. There’s one more satellite stage I think on the right side of the club in the main bar area in the front. Lap dances are done out in the open along bench seats that run along the right side of the club. The VIP area is in the back. More private “cabana” booths with a door-like entry way (with no actual door) are available along the left side of the club. They are just that, booths with high walls that give some privacy, but really not all that much privacy as you can still see into them if you walk by. I believe you have to pay by the hour to occupy those booths, but I didn’t sit there so I didn’t find out the cost. Seating on the main floor is comfortable – they have small round tables with two to four well-padded chairs that are on rollers. There is a second floor area where you can get bottle service and look down on the main floor from above.
