sinclair's Review

I made a couple visits to the Full Moon Saloon over the weekend. The Full Moon is at the east end of the lower block of Silver Street, just steps from the Michigan border. The first visit was at midnight on a Friday night. The second visit was just after midnight on a Saturday night. There is never a cover charge to enter. Sincweisers were $4. A glass of soda was ice is $2. Apparently, some cheaper beers are available in sixteen ounce tallboys for $3. The stage is on the left as you enter, and the bar is on the right. There were lots of different taxidermy mounts on the walls and a big trophy trout among the liquor bottles at the bar. The stage is a couple feet off the ground and features a spinning pole. The private dance area is a small wall room on the right wall past the bar. There is whole back room to the club that is not used outside of the winter months. The back room has its own stage and bar. Dancers play music off of an AMI jukebox.

Both evenings there were only two dancers working. Friday featured Sunny and Josie. Saturday featured Georgia and Josie. On Saturday, both the biker bartender and Josie were obnoxiously drunk.
