mob bar (?)(!)

I stopped off for the night in Syracuse about 3 months ago, on the way back from Montreal. I would have reviewed earlier when my memories were fresher, but for some reason I had trouble logging in. So, my standards at the time might have been high. Still, I've been to strip clubs from New York to Florida to California, and the clubs in Syracuse were pretty sad. This one was the best of the three I visited that night.

Mob themed strip club. That's right up there with a pirate-themed bar in terms of not making sense. Sure, mobsters might run strip clubs, but they don't advertise it. The couch rooms had names from mob movies, and there were posters on the wall from mob movies. Not exactly sexy.

Basically linear space, bar on one side and rooms on the other, with stage in the middle at back, as I recall. I was there fairly early, trying to get a little drunk and a few dances before I drove home the next day. Three dancers, had dances with two. Skinny white girl and average black girl, both with a few extra pounds around the middle. Maybe mid-to-late 20s, moderately aggressive. I doubt much money came in that night, so I was a whale with a couple of hundred dollars in my pocket. The white girl vaguely promised things, have a few more dances, do this and that, maybe she'd come back to my room. She was kind of nice, not very sexy, a little sad, I really didn't want to take her back to my room. Got a couple drinks and headed out to see if there was anything better down the road.
