Not like it used to be
Went there on a Wednesday evening just after 10:00. After paying the $7 cover, I found that there were only 2 other customers in the club. After ordering a beer (didn't have what I normally drink), scanned the area. One customer by himself, one talking with a dancer, and 3 dancers just talking to one another. No one was on the stage dancing and it stayed that way for over a half an hour. Just before 11:00 PM, a group of 7 guys came in (bachelor party) and the dancers started performing on the stage. Dancers were taking turns entertaining the guys and they were being generous with tips.
During all this time, I was only apporached by one dancer who chatted me up and asked if I wanted a dance. She was somewhat cute and on the heavy side. I finally gave in. Dance was mediocre at best. Dances were 4 for $65.
Now this used to be one of my regular clubs. I was actually there on day 1 when there were only 4 wooden kitchen tables and chairs and the gilrs gave chair dances. This was when the club was only about 750 square feet. IMHO, they ruined the club when they got their liquor license which tried to increase the clubs income but what it did is changed the dancers' dress code/nudity rules which reduced the dancers income. Customers starting to go to other clubs with more liberal rules and nudity such as Atlantis. I was hoping to see some dancers I knew 3 to 4 years ago but none were there.
