Good first try at Gold Club

I was in CLT for work and chose Gold as the second closest location to my hotel but higher rated on TUSCL. Got there at about 11pm and parked right up front. With a couple people smoking outside the front door it did not feel unsafe, just a bit isolated. The hostess was outside and walked me in. Cover was $15 and she both scanned ID and wrote down full name on an attendees list. Not my favorite.

You walk right into the main room with the bar dead ahead and off to the left. Stages are on the right hand side. There was a dancer on the main and secondary stages as well as up on the swing. I don’t always see every stage in use at places on a Wednesday night so i took that as a good sign. Maybe 15 dancers and 12 patrons on site. I was still a little anxious after a horribly delayed flight so i beeline’d for a drink at the bar. Think I paid $8.75 for a cocktail.

As soon as I got my drink, the 11pm 2-1 special began. They do the classic parade of girls with a shot in hand trying to talk you into going upstairs. I was trying to make eye contact with a blonde in the middle of the line when a curvy brunette pinned me down. She was between a 7-8-naturally curvy in all the right places—and I was eager to get the night started so I agreed. She walked me upstairs and explained dances would be $40 for the first 2 then $30 a song thereafter. Her dances were great: topless right away, excellent grind but no stick shifting. On a side note she smelled amazing which would serve her well later.
