Low Talent, Low Energy
In Jacksonville on business and decided to stop by the club to pass some time. I think this was maybe the 3rd or 4th time I have been to the club since their remodel. Things appear to not have gotten any better. After paying the entry fee, I sat at the back bar and bought a beer. There were a good number of people in the club, they were mostly in groups with a dancer or two with them in quiet conversations around the tables on the club floor. So it was not as if the club was jumping. There was at least 10-15 dancers on duty, none was worth writing home about. I didn't see of 7 or above in the bunch. They all appeared to be relatively young, but with lots of tats and makeup. Most appeared to be living a hard life. Three dancers would be on the long stage at once. I tipped several of them. Most dancers seemed to be just going through the motions with very little energy. A couple of the dancers came by the bar to thank me once leaving the stage. They asked if I wanted a private dance, but neither of them got my juices flowing, so I declined. I hung around for maybe 45-60 minutes, then called it a night. It will probably be some time before I make a return visit. Maybe that will give them time to improve the talent level, a lot. It is a new club, so I don't understand why things are so bad!
