I hit Centerfolds on a Friday around 4pm.. no cover that early. Its located in a drab business commercial kind of strip mall thing.. probably driven past it a hundred times over the years without realizing there's a club there. Inside its your typical middle of the road strip club. Not real fancy.. but not real rundown either. You enter through a short little hallway.. main seating area is directly in front of you with kind of a longer runway type main stage that runs from the left wall to the middle of the club. There's a "stage 2" which is just smaller stages that are offshoots of the back of the main stage. The bar is to your right and runs pretty much the extent of that wall. Looks like there's a pool table room behind there, but I didn't go back. The VIP is in the far left back up a couple stairs. The chairs are the same mostly comfortable chairs you see all over Phoenix, with the same stupid wheels.. so I immediately grabbed a chair along the wall. No couches along the walls which was disappointing. My crown and coke cost 6.75 and if I remember right a plain coke was 3.50, didn't hear any mention of food or snacks. The waitress I had was nice but did forget my order once. Clientele seemed mostly blue collar..
Stage dances were in two girl rotations.. the second stage has a swing, so some girls just sat on that and swung 'til they rotated to the main stage. The main has a nifty hanging bar in the ceiling that spins, so some girls did some really interesting fast twirling tricks on that thing. Some of the girls really worked hard on their stage show, with the twirly bits and the pole tricks. Dances on the floor were 10 bucks.. and they were pretty decent. VIP has a $20 cover charge (lord I hate that), but at least its good all night. They stamp your hand. Dances in VIP are $20 each and worth the extra money.. decent mileage. The women were average.. Didn't see any 9's or 10's.. maybe 4 or 5 in the 7-8 range.. the majority were 4-6's. Bit of a hardsell to get into VIP. The dancers were all pleasant with good personalities, and they worked the floor pretty well.. good circulation. There was a drunk, loud dancer in VIP that was pretty entertaining to watch as she stumbled around and threw shoes.. and I got to watch a small hispanic gentleman get rousted as I guess he came into VIP with no money to pay for the 4 or 5 dances he got. So yeah, not necessarily a high class joint.
