OK time. Serves its purpose

I went to Showplace around 8pm on a Thursday for the first time. It’s pretty much as described in other reviews. The outside looks ok, but the inside looks like an old dive bar. It’s really one square room with a huge square bar that takes up most of the room. There’s two platforms inside the bar area where the girls dance. The overall place looks old, dated and pretty dirty. Luckily, I didn’t smell any bad odors. There were about 6-7 girls working and about the same amount of guys. There was one girl on the stage pretty much just standing there with no attempt at dancing.

I sat down and ordered a $6 beer and within 2 minutes there was a dark skinned Brazilian girl talking to me. She made small talk and asked if I wanted a dance. I held her off saying I just arrived, so she sat down next to me and chatted while I drank my beer. The other girls all seemed of the same caliber, there weren’t any 10’s, but I didn’t seen any that were hideous either. I did see one pretty super busty Latina but she had her nose in her phone the entire time. Since, I didn’t see anyone else who caught my eye, I got a dance with the Brazilian girl. The dances are $20 and they are in a booth that looks like an office cubicle in the foyer. It's very dark, which is probably good all things considered. As soon as we got into the booth the girl told me about the possible upgrades to the lap dance experience. We settled on a partial upgrade for 80 and she nicely suggested that I don’t hold back because the dances are $20 for every 3 minutes. She knew what she was doing and I had the experience I expected. I returned to the bar and decided there was no need to hang out any longer so I left. In total, I was there about 30 minutes.

This isn’t a place to hang out all night and watch girls dance, but it does serve a purpose. I wouldn’t rush back, but I’d visit again if I was in the area.
