Killing Time

I found myself at Delilah's on a Sunday night with one of my friends, as we were looking to kill time until meeting some other individuals for reggae night at Cavanaughs on the River Deck, which is down the street from the club. We arrived at the club at around 8:30 and it was sparsely populated. Cover charge was 6 dollars and both of us had to go through a metal detector. This was my first time in Delilahs in over a year as this is a club that I'm not a fan of for various reasons (see my previous reviews, which contains reasons why I dont frequent this club.

The ambiance has been described in several reviews, so it doesn't make sense to reiterate it here again. We took a seat at the back bar that's located directly in front of an elevated area where the VIP section is located and this bar is directly adjacent to one of the lap dance rooms. The bartender was extremely slow and more focused on chatting with regulars than taking orders, as I had to obtain her attention three times before she acknowledged us and asked for our orders. A rum and coke was 12 dollars, and drinks are more expensive here than any other club within the Philadelphia area.

Dancer talent consisted of women with a combination of fake asses and fake tits, along with a couple of women who possess all natural assets. We were there for only 10 minutes when a short busty blonde with enhancements named Brook pulled up a chair next to me. She stated that she noticed us (in particular me), when we walked in but wanted to finish her drink and freshen up before she approached us. We had an enjoyable conversation about a variety of topics (college, career goals, nightlife, etc) for about 20 minutes and she never asked for us to buy her a drink or food, so that was a plus. She excused herself to go on stage and then another entertainer named Carmen decided to join us.
