Great Time for a first timer

A buddy and I recently visited DC for a vacation, and after seeing the reviews for this place I had to check it out.

Enough people have given a description of what the layout looks like but I will say it was a bit jarring to park in a church parking lot to walk across the street to a strip club. I will say that Ebony Inn is unlike any other club I’ve ever been to in Rhode Island, Florida, or Philadelphia. We didn’t eat, but the food actually didn’t look too bad. The first room has the bar and it’s extremely bright. It reminds me of an old VFW hall. The staff, while quirky, were very nice and went out of their way to let two goody white boys feel comfortable while they were there.

The Ebony Inn is just that, pretty much all Ebony. My buddy and I were the only white people in there (which didn’t bother us at all but it’s worth mentioning). We arrived around 10pm and there weren’t a lot of people there yet. There were women of all shapes and sizes walking around the room, and since a few knew it was our first time there they were kind enough to explain how everything runs there. The only private area is the vip room, but dances are to be had out in the open. Because of that you’ll find most customers with their chairs against the wall having a dance. I noticed a regular there who would get dances next to the vip room she was kind of shielded by it while he did his thing. One other thing worth mentioning is where the girls dance isn’t really a stage. I mean it is, but it’s not an elevated one like a traditional stage would be. It’s just the floor with a railing around it. Customers do walk across it while girls are dancing, which again took some getting used to.
