Maybe I just don't understand how Delilah's works
I have frequented other area clubs, though I would not call myself a regular at any of them. Yet I'd never been to Delilah's before. I tend to prefer the cheaper, smaller, more divey clubs than the palaces to the erotic arts. Yet I still wanted to see what was happening at Delilah's.
It was easy to find the parking lot via GPS (actually Waze had a listing for Delilah's parking lot!) and there was plenty of parking. When I walked up to the door, there were three doors - entrance, exit, and VIP entrance. Though I was feeling like a VIP that day, I went into the regular entrance. There was a dude behind the counter who walked out and operated the metal detector. No cover in the afternoon.
Inside, the club is pretty big. It has a very high ceiling, like the warehouse it probably once was, but the second floor of the main room appeared to be only for the dancers to walk down onto the stage. Generally the logistics of dancers on stage were impressive, but more on that in a minute. The bar area was very big, with two ends that served drinks, plus a few satellite bars (which were not open in the afternoon due to the light crowd). There were also a handful of helpful waitresses regularly making the rounds.
